जनक जननि पद कमल रज, निज मस्तक पर धारि।बन्दौं मात सरस्वती, बुद्धि बल देहु हमारि॥
Janak Janani Pad Kamal Raj, Nij Mastak Par Dhaari.Bandau Maat Saraswati, Buddhi Bal Dehu Hamaari.
Placing the dust of my parents' lotus feet upon my head, I bow to Mother Saraswati. O Mother, grant me supreme intelligence and mental strength.

ऋद्धि सिद्धि की दाता तुम ही।विमल बुद्धि वर दाता तुम ही॥

You are the sole giver of prosperity and accomplishment, the divine bestower of pure and clean intellect.

चार भुजा सोहे अति प्यारी।पुस्तक माला कमल धारी॥

हंस वाहिनी राजत नीके।चमके मुकुट शीश पर नीके॥

Your vehicle, the white swan, looks glorious, and a magnificent crown sparkles beautifully on your head.

दुःख दरिद्र सब दूर हटाओ।सुख सम्पत्ति घर में बरसाओ॥
Dukh Daridra Sab Door Hataao.Sukh Sampatti Ghar Mein Barsaao.
Drive away all our sorrows, sickness, and poverty. Shower peace, health, and prosperity upon our homes.

कहत अयोध्यादास कर जोरी।करहु कृपा प्रभु विपदा मोरी॥
Kahat Ayodhyadas Kar Jori.Karahu Kripa Prabhu Vipada Mori.

Erases the accumulated sins of many lifetimes and attains the supreme state of wisdom.

जो यह पढ़े सरस्वती चालीसा।होय सिद्ध साखी गौरीसा॥
Jo Yeh Padhe Saraswati Chalisa.Hoy Siddh Saakhi Gaurisa.
Whoever reads this Saraswati Chalisa achieves accomplishments, with Lord Shiva (Gaurisa) himself as witness.

पवन तनय संकट हरन, मंगल मूरति रूप।राम लखन सीता सहित, हृदय बसहु सुर भूप॥
