Chapter 9, Verse 22 · God Provides for Devotees
अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो मां ये जनाः पर्युपासते ।तेषां नित्याभियुक्तानां योगक्षेमं वहाम्यहम् ॥
Ananyāś cintayanto māṃ ye janāḥ paryupāsateTeṣāṃ nityābhiyuktānāṃ yoga-kṣemaṃ vahāmy aham
For those who worship Me with devotion, meditating on My transcendental form — I carry what they lack and preserve what they have.
Chapter 9, Verse 26 · Simplicity of Devotion
पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति ।तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः ॥
Patraṃ puṣpaṃ phalaṃ toyaṃ yo me bhaktyā prayacchatiTad ahaṃ bhakty-upahṛtam aśnāmi prayatātmanaḥ
If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, fruit, or water — I will accept it.
Chapter 9, Verse 27 · Offering Everything to God
यत्करोषि यदश्नासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत् ।यत्तपस्यसि कौन्तेय तत्कुरुष्व मदर्पणम् ॥
Yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi yaj juhoṣi dadāsi yatYat tapasyasi Kaunteya tat kuruṣva mad-arpaṇam
Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer in sacrifice, whatever you give, whatever austerities you perform — do it as an offering to Me.
Chapter 9, Verse 34 · Bhakti as the Path
मन्मना भव मद्भक्तो मद्याजी मां नमस्कुरु ।मामेवैष्यसि युक्त्वैवमात्मानं मत्परायणः ॥
Man-manā bhava mad-bhakto mad-yājī māṃ namaskuruMām evaiṣyasi yuktvaivaṃ ātmānaṃ mat-parāyaṇaḥ
Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and bow down to Me. With your mind thus fixed on Me, you will come to Me.
Chapter 9, Verse 2 · The Royal Secret
राजविद्या राजगुह्यं पवित्रमिदमुत्तमम् ।प्रत्यक्षावगमं धर्म्यं सुसुखं कर्तुमव्ययम् ॥
Rāja-vidyā rāja-guhyaṃ pavitram idam uttamamPratyakṣāvagamaṃ dharmyaṃ su-sukhaṃ kartum avyayam
This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realisation, it is the perfection of religion — it is everlasting and joyfully performed.
Chapter 9, Verse 10 · God Directs All of Nature
मयाध्यक्षेण प्रकृतिः सूयते सचराचरम् ।हेतुनानेन कौन्तेय जगद्विपरिवर्तते ॥
Mayādhyakṣeṇa prakṛtiḥ sūyate sa-carācaramHetunānena Kaunteya jagad viparivartate
This material nature, which is one of My energies, is working under My direction — producing all moving and non-moving beings. Under its rule this manifestation is created and annihilated again and again.
Chapter 9, Verse 17 · God as Father, Mother and Grandfather
पिताहमस्य जगतो माता धाता पितामहः ।वेद्यं पवित्रमोंकार ऋक्साम यजुरेव च ॥
Pitāham asya jagato mātā dhātā pitāmahaḥVedyaṃ pavitram oṃkāra ṛk-sāma yajur eva ca
I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandfather. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable Om. I am also the Rig, the Sama and the Yajur Vedas.
Chapter 9, Verse 29 · God's Impartiality and Devotion
समोऽहं सर्वभूतेषु न मे द्वेष्योऽस्ति न प्रियः ।ये भजन्ति तु मां भक्त्या मयि ते तेषु चाप्यहम् ॥
Samo'haṃ sarva-bhūteṣu na me dveṣyo'sti na priyaḥYe bhajanti tu māṃ bhaktyā mayi te teṣu cāpy aham
I am equal to all living beings — no one is dear to Me nor is anyone My enemy. But those who worship Me with devotion are in Me, and I am in them.
